Part Time Website Design Summer Internship

We are looking for a part time summer intern for website design in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated and possess a working knowledge of: CSS, HTML, Photoshop & Illustrator. Experience with PHP, MySql, JavaScript & other advanced languages is preferred. Position Overview

• 8+ hours/week
• Flexible schedule
• Pay Rate based on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Creating new site design mock-ups in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Building and updating customer sites
• Implementing internet marketing strategies such as: e-mail newsletters, social media, etc.
• Additional related activities as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements

• Strong computer skills
• Experience with the following applications:
• Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate-advanced)
• Photoshop (intermediate-advanced )
• Illustrator (intermediate)
• HTML Editor: Dreamweaver preferred (advanced)
• Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Acute attention to detail
• Understanding of website hosting environments
• Working knowledge of FTP
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Highly motivated

Preferred, But Not Required

• PHP, MySql, JavaScript experience a plus
• Experience developing, designing, and/or bug- testing CMS driven sites
• Strong design skills
• Good understanding of public and private DNS configurations
